• 4 cups of prepared white rice
• 1 cup brown lentil soaked in water over night
• 1cups chopped onion
• 3 chopped gloves of garlic
• 1 tbs cumin
• 2 tbs olive oil
• 3 cups of chicken stock
• 1 tbs salt
• 1/2 tbs white pepper
• Prepare 2 cups of plain cooked white Rice.
• Soak the Lentil in water over night.
• Add 2 tbs of olive oil to a large pot on medium heat fire, and add the onions.
• Cook for about 5 minutes until the onions get yellow and caramelized.
• Add the Garlic and keep stirring.
• Add the lentils.
• Add 3 cups of chicken stock.
• Cook for 1 hour.
• Add the salt and pepper, and the cumin. Whisk for another 10 min.
• Take of the fire and combine with the Rice. Garnish with fresh parsley leafs.
