Snails in Garlic Butter (Escargot)

If you have never tried escargot (french for snails as a dish) then you are probably thinking… WTF? But let me tell you something – once you have tried them, you will eat them again and again. The French were onto something with these tasty little buggers. Even if they do look like snot.

This recipe is fairly easy to follow. Don’t be scared or squeamish – it will be worth it in the end.

They are delicious. Especially when done in garlic butter. Eaten with a lump of crusty French bread, you can’t go wrong.
